BROTHER TIM WILKERSON
Minister of Music
TIm was a member of Audubon Baptist Church for 35 years, growing up there and serving in many areas of the church. He was ordained a deacon, worked with youth, and served many times during interim periods when they were without a worship leader. Singing in the choir and playing guitar, Tim has always had a great love for music. He worked for Palmer Oil Company for almost 20 years and now works with Raben Tire Company as a Sales Representative and has been with Raben for 11 years.
Tim came to Bellfield Baptist Church in 2005. In addition to leading our worship services, he also leads our adult choir in presenting two major musicals each year. Tim also plays the mandolin & guitar and is a member of the gospel singing group Gloryland. The group ministers to local nursing home residents the 1st and 2nd Sunday afternoons of each month and also plays at different churches, community events, and anywhere they can share the love of God through music and song.
Tim was born in Henserson, KY and has lived here all his life. He recently got married in June 2011 to Karen Zimmerman of Morganfield, Ky. Karen is employed by Raben Tire Co. as a bookkeeper. They live here in Henderson and share their home with their cat Bella. Tim has three brothers Ronnie Wilkerson, Rev. Kenneth Wilkerson, and Micheal Wilkerson. Tim and Karren both enjoy the outdoors, walking, bicycle riding, horseback riding, and just sharing time with one another.
