Dr. Phillip Basinger

Dr. Basinger is very familiar with Western Kentucky being born and raised in Owensboro, KY.  After graduating from Owensboro High School he attended Campbellsville College in Campbellsville, KY.  Dr. Basinger earned his Bachlors degree by returning to Owensboro and enrolling in Kentucky Wesleyan College.  Dr. Basinger earned his Master of Divinity Degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and his Doctrate at Luther Rice Seminary.  Prior to the Lord leading him to Bellfield Dr. Basinger was the Executive Director of Green Valley Baptist Association from 1999-2009. 

Dr. Basinger and Mollie have been married for 51 years and have two grown children, James and Kimberly,  3 grandchildren, Steven, Alyssa, and Kelsey, and 1 great-grandchild, Chloe.  Dr. Basinger is also known as a Christian Humorist as he performs at many of the local community festivals.
